Second wedding specialist - because once wasn’t enough
I love that. I’ve been a Celebrant for 10 years, and I can tell you for a fact that second-time-around ceremonies are 50% more fun than first-time ceremonies.
Why? Because everyone’s more chilled. More fun. You don’t need all the pomp of a first-time marriage.
You’re a different person now. You know what you want, and you know what you want from the ceremony. And that’s what the Second Chance Celebrant delivers: a fun, chilled, super-relaxed ceremony that’s perfectly catered to your second wedding.
Or third. Or fourth. Maybe even seventh. I’m not judging. If anything, I’m impressed.

Just the two of you, the legals, and a handful of words that actually mean something. In and out in ten minutes, all the feeling, none of the fuss.
Elopement-sizedA proper ceremony with your people watching - readings, rings, the works - minus anything that feels like a rerun of a wedding you’ve already had.
The full featureWant to cast someone else in the lead role as Celebrant - an uncle, an old friend, whoever’s earned top billing? Pick literally anyone to be your celebrant; I’ll handle everything happening backstage (i.e. the legals).
Let’s get casting
The person behind the microphone
I’ve been marrying people for more than 10 years, and somewhere along the way picked up over 300 five-star reviews from couples who trusted me with one of the biggest days of their lives.
Before this business existed, I built two other celebrant businesses from scratch: A Stand-up Celebrant, known for ceremonies with a genuine sense of humour, and My Celebrant Buddy, where you can choose anyone to be your celebrant.
The Second Chance Celebrant is a bit of both - the same steady hand, just aimed squarely at couples who’ve done this before and know exactly what they want this time around.
Frequently asked
The questions I get asked the most - answered honestly, not diplomatically.
If this is your second marriage, yup - you’ll need it. If it’s your third, fourth (or fifth, or sixth), you’ll only need proof from your most recent marriage. Not sure how to track it down? Here’s how to get your divorce certificate, or just get in touch and I’ll point you in the right direction.
God, no. (Unless you two are one of those rare, effortlessly civil exes - in which case, that’s entirely your call.)
Not at all. This service also covers de facto relationships and long-term separations - you don’t need a signed divorce certificate to qualify, just a past relationship you’re ready to leave behind. And it doesn’t have to apply to both of you either - even if it’s just one partner who’s done this before, you’re still exactly who this is for. Same fun, same relaxed approach, no judgement either way.
Second weddings - as a general rule - are a lot more chilled, a lot more relaxed, and (dare I say it) a lot more fun.
Definitely. When I married Sinead and her new husband, they booked the same musician who’d played at her first wedding - he gave her half price the second time round, too.
That’s okay - we all have a type. (I’m partial to brunettes with British accents myself.) Plus, it’s what’s on the inside that counts. Unless he’s got an awesome body, in which case, fair enough.
